Tachometer / Speedmeter TDP-3621

Universal tachometer and speedometer connected to a PLC

- BCD output with 1ms update allows measurement data to be input to a PLC.
- Measurement data can be written to Mitsubishi Electric PLCs (A/Q/FX series) without programming by using the protocol converter PC-1 (sold separately).
- Analog output (0 to 10 V, 0 to 5 V, 1 to 5 V, 4 to 20 mA) can be selected by internal settings. With 16-bit resolution, it can also be used as a high-performance F/V converter.

Standard specifications

Wide variety of input signals
In addition to open collector (NPN, PNP acceptable), AC (zero-cross), and TTL signals, balanced inputs are provided to accept line driver signals as well as motor drivers and DC 2-wire proximity sensors.

Wide range, high accuracy measurement
Inputs from 6 mHz to 500 kHz can be measured without range switching. The RateMaticTM enables easy and arbitrary setting of display value and output, and averaging functions such as frequency division (1 to 999) and moving average (1 to 8) are provided to respond well to jerky rotation.

2-color LED display
Two-color (red/green) 7-segment LED display color can be selected by internal settings. The RateMaticTM function enables conversion display in the unit of your choice (Hz, rpm, l/h, etc.).

Isolation for peace of mind
The input, each output, and power supply are all isolated from each other, eliminating the influence of noise caused by floating ground potential.

Options

RS-485 communication
Internal setting values can be changed and measurement data can be retrieved.
With the protocol converter PC-1, measurement data can be sent to Mitsubishi Electric PLCs (A/Q/FX series) without programming.

BCD output
Open collector or TTL level BCD output allows measurement data to be output every 1 ms (at the fastest setting) and is suitable for PLC input.

Analog output + RS-232C communication
Selectable from 0 to 10 V, 0 to 5 V, 1 to 5 V, and 4 to 20 mA by internal setting. All ranges have 16-bit resolution and are updated every 1 ms (at the fastest setting).
The RS-232C communication function (internal setting value change, measurement data output) can be used to change setting values such as input frequency and display by the RateMaticTM function, and to output measurement data.

Comparator alarm output
By optional setting, judgment comparison result (comparator output) of 3 points (selected from HH/HI/GO, HI/GO/LO, GO/LO/ LL) can be taken out every 1ms (at the fastest setting).
Fast response with AC/DC dual-use photo-MOS relay, suitable for PLC input.
