Frequency to Voltage Converters (F/V): KAZ-723 / KAZ-723A converts input frequencies into real time analog output display. It enables to analyze the characteristics of high acceleration mechanical systems. It efficiently captures accelerating or decelerating, periodic or unperiodic, continues or discontinues, and suddenly starting or stopping frequencies to convert into output voltage with ideal response time on the basis of operation based on PERIOMATICTM. It accepts frequencies from rotary encoder, optical sensor, gear speed sensor, and converts these mechanical actions into analog voltage.
The range of KAZ-723 / 723A is 0.04Hz to 200kHz with a response time of 5micros and resolution of 6.25ns. Besides F/V conversion it offers deviation data that is the measurement of fluctuations in the input frequencies.

One Pulse Response and Response Time
 

One pulse response means that KAZ-723 updates the out put analog voltage for each and every incoming frequency. It has an ideal response time of 3micros to complete the computational but it takes less than 5micros to complete the whole process of conversion from input to analog output voltage.

Wide Range 0.04Hz - 200kHz
 

It works efficiently in the range of 0.04Hz to 200kHz and functions within one pulse response.
The full-scale value of F/V mode and the center frequency of deltaF mode can be set in each 1 Hz.

Deviation Output (deltaF mode)

  Corresponding to the settled center frequency, the fluctuation (deviation) of frequency is converted into analog plus or minus10V (plus or minus5V available) of deviation outputs. The sensibility of deltaF mode can be chosen from 8-steps of plus or minus0.5% to plus or minus100% of the center frequency. This deltaF mode is used to check fluctuation in rotary motion.

High Resolution

  It has a high resolution of 6.25ns (equivalent to 160MHz).It offers output as a result of 16-bit D/A converter.
Compatibility to Signals
  KAZ-723 / 723A accepts broad range of input signals like logic square wave, a NPN open-collector, a widely used AC and a balanced line-driver signals.
Divider
  For an intermittent motion, 1 to 64 dividing rate is prepared. The divider is effective to obtain average value
Moving Average
  To avoid delay affect of averaging, the moving average can respond to each input change keeping average effect. KAZ-723 / 723A is provided by 1 to 32 registers of moving data.
Stop Forcasting
  It is built in with a stop forecast computation in order to respond to a sudden stop of input frequencies. When the input signals stop all at sudden hyperbola stop forecast comes into play and outputs zero analog voltage.
