- Inverters, which are widely used in motor control as an energy-saving measure, are a source of noise, making noise countermeasures in measurement scenarios a challenge.
- Many encoders with line driver signal output are used for rotational speed and angle measurement, but they cannot be used for EVs or motors with high rotation speed.
- We introduce a gear sensor with line driver output that is less susceptible to noise by employing a differential system in the detection and transmission sections.

What you can do with the measurement
Gear tooth sensor- Detection is possible from 0 Hz, allowing detailed measurement of the motion of a rotating object when it starts or stops.
- The sensing section uses a two Hall element differential method, so it is unaffected by surrounding magnetic fields and can perform stable detection with suppressed jitter.
- The line driver output is less susceptible to transmission noise, so it can be used safely even during long-distance transmission.
Rotation speed measurement
- Combined with the TDP-4921-ND series, which supports line driver input and input isolation, measurement with higher noise immunity can be achieved.
Selection Points
- Gear sensing less susceptible to inverter noise.- Line driver output that can be used without worrying about signal attenuation during long-distance transmission
- Gear sensor capable of sensing from low RPM (0Hz)
- Measuring equipment capable of line driver signal input
- Signal isolation from measurement line
