Applications: Winding speed measurement of paper, film, conveyor, etc.

- Different speed ratios during winding can cause sagging or tearing, so the speed ratio must be measured and used for control.
- In this example, rotary encoders A and B are attached to rollers A and B, and the pulses are input to the FRM-3921 rotational speed ratio meter to measure the rotational speed ratio.
- The FRM-3921 performs high-speed calculations of speed, speed ratio [B/A], and speed ratio [(B-A)/A] for each of the 2-channel input frequencies.
