Speed and Acceleration Measurement for Dynamometers, Alternators, etc.
It is crucial to simultaneously measure speed and acceleration variations during startup (cranking), idling, and normal running states.
The Frequency Accelerometer FAM-3921 inputs pulse signals from gear sensors and similar devices, and outputs both speed and acceleration simultaneously via analog signals to capture transient phenomena instantly.

Wide Range Measurement from 0.01Hz to 100kHz
By digitally computing acceleration directly from frequency, it ensures highly accurate, stable, and responsive tracking even through continuous transitions from ultra-low to high-speed zones. This method significantly minimizes calculation errors compared to conventional frequency-to-voltage conversion methods.
The display can be switched to indicate either speed or acceleration.
Equipped with 2-channel Comparator (Alarm) Outputs as Standard
Transmits displayed data (both speed and acceleration listed together) to computers or printers via RS-232C digital communication output.
